Well here's my first official post about anything I made! It's a needle felted little pony, on a wire frame (so I can play with it!). The brown wool is Shetland and the natural white is mixed wool. I can't wait to make more, I need more time in a day. ps. the ground it's standing on is my first cobweb scarf! It makes excellent grass! And I made up the background using wool too.

That's a really cool little vignette for your horse. Looks like you're having fun

He's very sweet! I like the background you've made for him - it really looks as if he's in his own meadow.

Lovely little pony! I was imagining how delighted a young girl or boy would be with your diorama. I have made needle-felted animals in the past but never thought to add landscape or backdrop…great idea!

thanks everyone, I'm playing around, yes having fun. Years ago when my boys were little, I created a felt board for them. They loved it and so did every child who visited, and it was such a quiet activity! I taught them how to cut their own designs to put up.

the cobweb scarf make a great meadow for the horse, I love how you've made his mane and tail, and white socks to match :-)

Very sweet We had a 'game' called Fuzzy Felt which was a board with lots of felt pieces, I loved that, I can imagine how much your kids liked your own made one.

What a great little pony and meadow. I am sure anyone would love to receive him as a gift. Children( and adults) love the feel of wool to play with.
