A month or so before the Pollock challenge I had been inspired by the artist Rassouli, I think his art work lends its self to felt work, do you agree? the piece I used for my Pollock piece was a Rassouli piece I had been working on. But prior to that I had a go at intrepreting this piece, I think he calls it moon woman Lots of detail here,, including machine stitch and hand embroidery, and beading (of course)

thank you Zed, it was a delight to make, and to embellish - I think I need to return to this artist, here is the other one in it's basic state before it got the Pollock treatment

Carole, the Rassouli piece is gorgeous. You're right it does lend itself to felt and embellishments. I hope we see more!

Wonderful! It's fun interpreting other artist's work in felt.
