I got another package of gorgeousness in the post yesterday! I was asking Ruth about her hand dyed threads feltingandfiberstudio.com/fibers/dyeing/minolta-digital-camera-4/ and she offered to send me some samples so I could see if it was the right size. I got a nice surprise when I opened my package yetserday, not only was there a whole skein of lacewight yarn all tied ready for me to dye, but there was also a gorgeous hand made card Ruth made from painted fabric, some Stitch and Tear stabiliser for me to try, and also the most gorgeous hand dyed threads from her recent course. Thanks, Ruth!

Beautiful threads and postcard. I must try to do some postcard size projects - they would really suit my miserly side though I find it more difficult to work small.

Glad you like them Zed. I am looking forward to seeing them in action Judith - The fabric for the card was a large piece that I cut into card size pieces. That way you don't have to start working small.

I can't wait to try them all! Judith, even the smallest felt offcuts can be embellished and used on cards or as a brooch etc. I did some a couple of years ago, I think the biggest of these was an inch and half. Embellished felt by zedster01, on Flickr I was thinking of getting one of those magnifier screen stands for working under
