Has anyone tried usin Wix.com as a free website? It looks pretty simple with some interesting possibilities. However, I would like to find someone who actually uses it to see if there are drawbacks. I did not see on their tour if they add advertising. I did not see any ads on their sample pages.

I haven't, but I'd be interested in finding out more as well.

Sorry - never heard of it. Most free places use ads eventually.

Never heard of it either. I use hostpopa and it comes with your domain name and a free website builder or word press like we have for the blog but the full service one not the free one. With the wordpress you do not have to have a blog.

I suspect that there is something more to a free site, like their ability to use you information or ads, however Blogger is pretty limited. And they really insist that you used their Google Plus for comments and they won't allow a lot of third party widgets. A website should allow you to use attachments, like a newsletter or other things like forms. I am thinking it over.
