Had an urge to try some vessels and flowers with varying results. Having difficulty getting the petals to look like - well - petals Need some guidance from some of you expert flower people. However, I feel I'm making progress with the vessels. The little one is really solid. The 'mob cap' one, though it looks a bit strange is perfect as a small planter. I think the flowers look great. I especially like the white one. What fibers did you use in the vessels? I love the green sheen on the little one.

I usually do 3 circles and layer them with the ball in the middle. I stretch the edges at the end so they are wavy. I also grab the middle and the scrunch them into a tube shape then let them dry in a cone shape. Thanks for your comments and advice. The small vessel is merino - felted on a ballon. It looked a bit bare when it was finished, so I chopped some pieces from a failed nuno project and needled them on. Your flowers are lovely Ann. I've made a couple more and the've turned out much better, look a bit like Stargazer lilies - well that's only my opinion No photos as yet as I've been very busy making Christmas decorations.

Great job on the flowers. I love how thin you got the petals.

Thank you all. Ruth, yes the petals are quite thin, but as I've said before, I think it's just that I'm a bit of a miser with my fibre!!
