I posted my submission today: a wetfelted necklace-warmer (??) through the Community photo sharing, it is really very easy and straightforward. :-) It does look nice and warm and I do think that the two colours go together - almost a sunset with clouds. Hope the shells aren't too scratchy. Definitely up to the challenge!

Thank you, Lyn! I was quite uncertain about it, but I was wearing it while videocalling with my mother-in-law and she saw it and started saying how it suited my looks and enlivened my (drab) jumper: I was not sure if it was a veiled way to tell me that I need to wear more colourful jumpers or care for my looks a bit more or what. Oh, well, I guess that I will keep it and wear it again. It IS very warm and helping me in this freezing weather! And it makes me feel a bit like a party-goer. ;-)

Annie knitted her Christmas stocking from bits of leftover yarn for the challenge but she's worried that she's made it too small and that she won't get many presents Perhaps she should sew some large hooks on the outside so that pressies that don't fit inside can hang on the outside?

The colours are a bit different, especially the blue of the photo is actually teal: I think it complements the pumpkin quite well. The shells are not scratchy, also because I am wearing it over my jumper, but I would not want to hug a kid against it! Maybe I should cut them off...but a couple of them have made interesting shapes underneath the wool, and I like them..

Caterina, your neck warmer is wonderful! I would ignore the comments from M-I-L, she sounds like my mother Annie's Christmas stocking is adorable but next time she should make it three times the size!

Dunno what's the matter - can't get a photo to go up in full - ah well. Annie says: I've been wanting to knit a stocking for about 5 years and finally got round to it. Been thinking about room for prezzies and Santa could definitely get a decent sized roll of fifty pound notes in there if he tried! The credit for the pattern is here: vickiehowell.com/scrap-bin-stockings/

Caterina - Annie's reply: I was very lucky and Santa left some very nice presents including a new paintbrush and paper and some yummy chocolates! Perhaps I'll knit a giant stocking for next year!
