Beautiful work on the book! Christmas lights, sparkly things, and winter scenes... really captures the feeling of the season.

Thanks Tess, will let you know when it arrives. Yours was meant to go today, but biblical rain kept me indoors, what a wimp I am! Pretty bad though - schools closed, local hospital cancelled all elective surgery We're on high ground, so we're OK. More expected overnight and I hear the patter of raindrops wearing big boots now! Hope to get to the Post Office tomorrow.

we have been watching the Uk weather on our news its so widespread, Ian phoned his mum in North Wales and she is Ok but a neighbour had some tiles off their roof, another friend went up to Scotland to bring her parents down to Kent where they will now live so it followed her up there and greeted her on the return journey. She is home safe and sound now, don't you go out on my account, stay safe and dry, that's an order.

Glad you enjoy the little folk art book. We had a lot of fun making those fabric books. There were so many different types and styles a fabrics in that class. Even though I was teaching, I have to say that some were better than mine.
All that rain sounds bad. Thinking about the flooding in New York. Just devastating. Still people without homes.

I watched a documentary about Sandy, I'm surprised some people still have jobs, we the general public knew about it for at least a week, and it turned out the weather centre had accurate predictions from Europe a long time before, and even though they said those are always more reliable, they 'didn't believe it'! The guy who was the boss of the whole area's electricity had a weird jokey attitude, and a 'professional storm chaser' said he was stood on the beach in New Jersey on Monday morning as the water had already flooded houses and said 'that's when we knew it was gonna be bad' Unbelievable!
I hope all the UKers are OK, it's always rainy here, but we never get flooded, I hope Ian's mum is still ok, Tess, Wales has more flood alerts today.

I will let you know the moment it arrives, many thanks, sometimes I can get items to the UK within 4 days, mail would take longer than an item to be sent from the North Island to the South Island within New Zealand. Ian's mum lives in Penhryn bay near Llandudno and she is OK her area doesn't flood thank heavens. It just seems so relentless.
