I was working on a project and it didn't please me when I'd finished it (I'd secured spheres into a piece of felt with rubber bands then cut them out. The felt was plain-ish one side and patterned on the side that would have showed as the inside of the cut-outs). Before consigning it to the scraps/recycling box, I loosened the bubbles and turned them through to the underside of the felt. It was eye candy. Here it is - moments before it hit the box - it'll make colourful scraps for future projects!

Would love to see this Lyn but the images aren’t opening for some reason.

Very colorful. You could use it store pencils or brushes. But I’m sure we’ll be seeing it again in something else.

Thank you Marilyn. Yes, you'll be seeing it again ... in little bits.
Are you able to see both photos? I've tried again to link from dropbox.

Very interesting Lyn, but I do agree that as an overall piece it feels way too intense. Small pieces should be less overwhelming.

Wow!! I can see it now. It makes me think of a psychedelic Luna landscape. Shame it didn’t work as planned cos those colours would have looked great peeping out from the craters. I’m guessing you didn’t take a photo before reversing it?

Wow. Great vivid colours and an intriguing prospect: what will this felt metamorphose into in future makes? Perhaps you could sneak bits into something and we could play at spotting it!

I think it looks beautiful just as it is. I could sit and look at it for ages, you can see so much in it. I should have thought that if you made the crater sides less tall, the colours should be visible inside, but I still think it looks great like this.

I love it - I do not know the size but I can see it as a centerpiece on a spring dining table with pastel flowers or some foliage in the open spikes - you could put a small clear tube or bottle in to hold water or carnations will last a few days with out water.

I am with Karen. The first thing I thought was alien landscape. You just need some small alien figures and you can have a good play.
