Can you explain how to get that stunning 'stone-like' texture at the edges of the grey/tan cuffs in the newsletter? Is it an overlay of silk fabric? Or is it needlefelting? Thanks

I have emailed Karen to ask her to respond to your question.

Thanks It’s been a while since I’ve been on the forum so I’m very rusty and just hoping I’m responding in the right place! Felt is a wonderful surface to stitch on and the edging texture you referred to is simply free motion machine stitching.

Thanks - it looked like the felt surface, I'd not realised the stitching went right to the edge - very effective

That’s one of the things I love about felting, there are so many different ways to create surface texture. I hope you give it a try.
