They're fabulous and the colour is spot on! Would look great with silver findings.
The advantage of these as opposed to those made from metal/glass is that although they are a decent size they won't pull on your lugs because wool is so lightweight.

These look great Lyndsey. And the colour is spot on. Seeing you try cockle shells would be interesting!

Love your earrings Lindsay. What was the fix for FB photos?

Love your earrings Lindsay. What was the fix for FB photos? Thanks, Ruth. There used to be a ‘copy URL’ option from the ‘...’ symbol on the top right of the Facebook post. Now you select ‘share’ on the right under the image in the Facebook post, then ‘more’ then ‘copy’ which copies the URL (even though it looks like it will just copy the picture). As before, you then come into the forum thread, choose ‘reply’ (not ‘quick reply’), select the grey </> button at the top right of this reply box, choose the Facebook symbol, paste the URL link into the pop up box and click on ‘embed’. Simple as that! Except Ann says she can’t see it so maybe not.....

Thanks, if you don't mind, I'll add this to the FAQ section.

Thanks, if you don't mind, I'll add this to the FAQ section. Of course not. Would it be helpful for me to add some screenshots?

These instructions also work for copying a photo (rather than a post) that’s hosted on Facebook. I’ve only just realised this (doh!) so will do that in future rather than copying posts.

Not sure what the problem is Ann.

I wonder if its because I have a facebook fence. It stops Facebook from tracking you everywhere. I will have to turn it off and see what happens. I will figure it out and try tomorrow.

I was prompted to make these when a local palliative care nurse put out a request for handmade hearts to give to people in hospital whose families can’t visit because of the virus. The patient gets one and one is posted to their family members. This is the first wet felting I’ve done at home since the lockdown and I had to make do with white wool (I didn’t bring any pink home with me) and a very fine silk scarf. I have a small amount of red so also did a few needle felted ones. Made me feel both sad for people in this position & very grateful for the people taking care of those who are ill. The hearts are in quarantine & will start going out in the coming week.

They are beautiful Lindsay - and a selfless act that will be much appreciated by those receiving the hearts.

Wonderful Lindsay. It's so sad to think of people isolated in the hospital without their family being able to comfort them.
