Lovely cards and I agree with Ruth, I’m always surprised at how different they all are in spite of having felt in common.

Antje sent me this wonderful holiday card. Isn't it cool? She also sent some other items which I will post about soon.

Very cool card Antje. what have you used for the branches? It looks more sparkly than silk.

Great card, Antje. I love the lively, almost explosive look of the tree.

Is there anyone, other than my poor partner, that hasn't received their card yet? Mine seems to be taking a slow boat around the horn of Africa, or perhaps it is going the other way around the Galapagos Islands, the scenic route anyway.

It says you need permission to view the photo. Can you change the permission to allow everyone to see it? Maybe a public setting?

Hooray I think I have finally cracked it!! What a mission to post a couple of photos! This is the beautiful card sent by Shepherdess Ann to me. I love the sheep especially and would like to know how you do the curly fleece effect. I have bought a nice frame and I'm going to hang it today.

Great card and I'm glad you figured out the photo posting bit. Now that you know how, it will be much easier in the future.

I am so glad you like it. Are the southern lights green and purple too? Mostly we just get green here. The sheep are made up of many little french knots.

Hi Ann, yes the southern lights (Aurora Australis) are predominantly green and purple but sadly I have never seen them. The best place to see them down here is at the bottom of South Island and Stewart Island even further south off the bottom of South Island. I have been to Stewart Island but did not see any although the sunsets were spectacular. They are one of the many things on my "Bucket List".
