They are very pretty pieces of colourscape felt Lindsay! The colours, textures and patterns are wonderful - I hope your customers can't choose a favourite and buy lots of them. They would make lovely Christmas/Birthday presents.
Are the notebooks 'spineless' - like school exercise books? Hard to tell from photo. If they are, could you make a mock one from thick cardboard to use as a template?

These are gorgeous color schemes, perfect for the challenge.

Am I missing something? I can't see a link anywhere in your post Lindsay but Ruth & Lyn obviously can. I have run the cursor all the way over your text, but nothing to click on. ??!!

There isn't a link but I saw these on Lindsay's Facebook account. You do see the photos embedded from FB?

I’m happy to say the blue one sold today and I’ve started on a purple one so hope to get that on the shelves soon. The books have a soft rubbery cover and yes, I could have made a thick cardboard replica and should do that in future. For now, I already have one that I use for fitting so for the time being it will be the one with the wobbly pages. I’m sure I can find a use for it when it retires.

I’m sorry, I’m not great at the technology thing. I can see my Facebook pictures when I go on this thread so I’m not sure why they’re not visible for you. I’d be happy to try something else if someone can suggest something. Like I said, I tried Ipernity but it won’t let me upload anything.

Yes, I can view the photos directly on this forum too.
Kerching Lindsay!
When the book dries out the pages will have a lovely crinkly feel to them and will be great as a personal notebook.

Weird, are you on FB? Not sure why it isn't working. Lindsay, if you upload the photos to the Felting and Fiber Studio website and then just copy the URL for the photo, you can add them that way here.

I do have a FB account and I am sure that I have seen previous posts from Lindsay that had FB images in them; some of the early sea bird pictures? Sometimes technology seems inexplicable to me

Well at least its not just me. I was beginning to get a complex I've just tried clicking on 'quote' for Lindsay's post. When I do that a box appears with "The facebook embed will appear after you post"

I decided to combine my need to produce some sale-able smaller items for the gallery shop with the 4th quarter challenge so have made 'colourscape' notebook / journal covers. (Apologies for the Facebook links, I tried to add the photos on Ipernity but it doesn't seem to like me any more and won't let me upload anything) This second link shows the whole journals (not just the front). They are made around a resist so the felt is one piece, not stitched. the main drawback of this is that I fit them snugly in the final stages of fulling (ie.when wet) so I have sacrificed one notebook to act as the model as the pages don't like getting soggy. I tried RovingOne's suggestion of quoting Lindsay's post, saw the same 'your FB embed will appear here after you post, but it didn't ?

Sorry Pamster I should have added that although that text box appeared there still weren't any photos. I don't know about you but I was thinking we had a case of the Emperor's new felt A work around is to click on Linday's name and then on FB and lo and behold there really are some pictures of some lovely notebook covers. Still none the wiser as to why we can't see them the usual way.
