On Monday a used my hand carders to card some wool and silk throwsters waste together. I cut the silk into small pieces so I would be able to draft the wool easily.

The yarn looks gorgeous and on a drop spindle, something I’ve not been brave enough to try yet.

Thanks Ladies. I have no plans for this one. I usually don't I just spin things I like. I have a nice stash on handspun yarns I use mostly for embellishments on felt.

Lovely colours, Ann & it looks very nice & even. I’ve never done any spinning but it always looks to me like getting it even would be a challenge!

Lindsay It is not as even as you think. It looks pretty good in a single but when its plied it shows up much more. But thats ok I am not going to knit a sweater.
