My daily dose for Wednesday was my felted flower class. The blog post about it is here: feltingandfiberstudio.com/2019/04/12/felted-flower-class-2/
Today I may get to work on the hat I started 2 weeks ago. But first I updated the theme and plug ins for my site only to find the update changed it from a free theme to a paid theme and put a big #$@%$^% advertisement for the theme right in the middle of my front page. I have quickly changed it to another theme but that means I have to fiddle with it again. I may do that Sunday when its raining. It is always something

My daily dose today was getting another hat started and moving the one I started 2 weeks ago (where does time go) Along another stage. It is ready to be cut open.

I have been ironing fabric to make "matts" for my recently finished pieces. Had to do them twice because I didn't get them done correctly the first time. Sigh.

my dose yesterday was spinning some silk at our Guild Social.
I hate ironing. I always seen to iron in a wrinkle. I steam the scarves and silk.

That sounds like my ironing Ann, I seem to make more wrinkles than I iron out

My dose today was moving the two hats along a little and starting two scissor cases. They went slowly because I was sorting out my felting table that seemed to have gone form 4x8 feet to about 18 inches by 24 inches. At the moment I am overwhelmed with good and useful things and no proper storage.

I bought an easel from a friend and added it to my already overfilled room. So I know what you mean.

Today I’m putting together an information swatch that will sit in an exhibition to describe wet felting and show examples of different stages and types of felt. I’ve gathered the samples and written the text so just need to print and laminate the small pieces of text, maybe add a couple of photos and then tie it all together.
I will use it when talking to people about felt making but it will also sit in the room when I’m not there (about 2/3 of the time) so needs to be self-explanatory.
Does anyone else use something like this?

Laminating is a good idea - it's a bit of work to produce the thing but it will be invaluable and should last for years.

I have the stages of making a hat in miniature, ending in a small hat on a stuffed sheep, that was used for a display.
