My apologies to Ann for taking so long to post these photos. I took the photos and then forgot I needed to post them. But this is the lovely card that Ann sent me plus some lovely fiber too. The landscape is wonderful and I love the little sheep
Wonderful card, Ann. Very festive. I particularly like the way you’ve blended the colours for the snow & sky. You have achieved such a good depth / sense of perspective in the picture. And who wouldn’t want to stroke a sheep made of French knots!
Thanks Lady's. I think I forgot to tell Ruth what the fibers are. They are Softsilk ( thats the brand name) I think it is supper shredded sari waste. At least that is what it looks like to me. They are very soft. the other is Wensleydale or Teeswater locks I think.
My holiday card from Tanya arrived today and it is beautiful. There are shiny viscose fibres on the white snow and the gold veins on the leaves are sari silk scraps. I only wish my photographic skills were good enough to do it justice. I've tried to take the photo with the card on its side so you can see that the design continues over onto the back. Many thanks Tanya.
