My little art group is meeting today for the last time this season. We take a break over the summer and meet again in September at our annual lake side retreat.
Today we're going to play with Tyvek, painting and melting and seeing what we can create. I'm planning on writing a post about it if I can remember to take photos. We're also going to paint fabric.
What are you doing that's creative today?

I'm getting ready for an art sale at my church on Sunday. Time to iron all the scarves & double-check everything. I hope it will go as well for me as last year.

Today I made felted jackets for some cute double-lidded little canisters (that I’d bought new from a charity shop) in the same colour as the coasters I recently posted a picture of for a group pop up shop I’m doing next week. I also made a set for those of us who like our colours a little more grey to go with my pebble coasters. www.ipernity.com/doc/2373440/46787552www.ipernity.com/doc/2373440/46787556

Elizabeth Hope you have a really successful sale on Sunday. The parishioners will be very lucky to get their hands on some of your gorgeous garments.

Good luck Elizabeth, Lindsay and Tracey! Lindsay, I love your canister covers. It makes me want to cover all my jars that I use for painting and brushes etc. Tracey, your notebook cover is so sweet and the turquoise is a great background color choice.

Thanks Ruth, it sold before the fair opened to a fellow stallholder, along with a card and a spec case.
Guess that means I need to make another!

Yay, Tracey. Always very rewarding when your fellow stall holders snap up what you’ve made.
