This may be kind of obvious but I only just thought of it so maybe you haven't either! Even the lightest breeze has wrapped my plastic (used to cover felt as I rub and roll it) around the washing line and got it in a complete tangle. The answer is to weight it all round, of course, and clothspegs do the job perfectly!

Good idea! I usually just throw mine over a bench outside and then it usually ends up blowing away

I use a drying rack in the bathtub. Or over the shower rod.

I give mine a good shake outside, but I always manage to get a little damp myself in the process, then I hang it over my drying rails.

You are right Anne, the pegs are an obvious solution, and no I had not thought of it! It's the future....
A while back I hung a piece of damp felt on my washing line in the sunshine, went back to it later and found it was starting to attach itself to the nylon line!!Ha ha....water - agitation - felting!
I hang them over the drying bubble wrap now.......

...but if you had wanted to incorporate the nylon line into your felted piece it would have stubbornly refused!

That's a good idea and as you say once you say it is sounds so obvious. I usually drape it over the end of my table or on a drying wrack. Mostly because my cloths line pole fell down.
