Cool save on a failed piece. They seem to go together so well. Is one of them blooming? I don't think I have ever seen that before. they always seem to be almost fake plants. they never seem to grow or change but logically I know they must.

I agree re air plants - they’re more a novelty item to me than a plant but the lack of soil does mean you can do interesting things with them. The people at the studio who saw them in their hangings yesterday were really positive and the felting is pretty quick and basic so I will put them in the beach hut fairly cheaply & see what happens. Yes, one of them does have a flower of sorts. Reading up about them it looks as if this means it may sprout some further plants then die so if someone buys that one I’d better warn them that might happen. In the meantime I made some pebble coasters yesterday. As the weather is nice I put them on a table in the garden to dry this morning and one of them has completely disappeared. Next door has a new young cat who has a bit of kleptomaniac history. I’m hoping it turns up back at his house!

Cats love felt! Hopefully, it won't be torn to shreds when you find it.

I'm glad you got it back. You will have to start caging them. I may look into some air plants. they are just up my ally. I usually stick to cactus.
