What is everybody doing now that we're having a change of season (hopefully)? I am off skiing today because we still have snow and only a couple of more times to ski before the hill closes. But I did change out the background fabric for a planned collage. Now I have to get the silk stabilized for machine stitching and get that completed.
Happy Easter and April Fool's Day all in one!

My only fiber thing today is taking stuff back to the studio. It migrates to the living room somehow. Happy Easter. I hope no one played any tricks with your chocolate.

Yesterday I made another batch of pebble coasters as I’d sold 4 of the 6 I’d previously made and the remaining 2 were looking a bit lonely. A lot of rubbing. By the end of the day my hands were so smooth I felt like I’d worn my fingerprints away! The lightest one is Swaledale wool which I’d not used before. Felted at a very similar rate to the rest, which are all Corriedale. The end result was a bit hairier. https://instagram.com/p/BhJPFLQDPrX

They are lovely and other people must think so too as you sold 4 of the original 6.

Lovely Lindsay, yes Corriedale is a bit hairier than Merino. But I’m sure the neutral colors will be attractive to a lot of people.

Do you back your coasters with anything?

Nice, I would certainly go for the neutral colors before I picked something bright.
