I’m setting up for a group show tomorrow which will be the first time I’ve offered these pebble key rings. The challenge was working how to get the hole in there. If you look closely you can see that I made some of them too thick to get the ring through without spraining it so I’ve had to use a carabiner-type clip. Oops.

Cute idea. I’m sure either type ring will work and people may have a preference for one or the other.

Those are great Lindsay. Let us know the level of interest. Thanks Tracey, will do. I’ve also made some large flat pebble coasters so I’m hoping they will look good as a group. Enjoyed your ‘selling at fairs’ blog, by the way, lots of good insight and useful pointers. Your stall looked very appealing.

Thanks all for your encouragement. This is how it looks. Tracey - completely forgot to take any proper pics of the coasters so I hope they don’t sell before tomorrow when it’s my turn to staff the exhibition. You can just see them on the table to the right. I’ll see if I have a slightly better shot.

Ah yes, you can see the coasters better here. I made them extra large. Pale grey are natural grey merino, dark grey are Corriedale. 4 good layers of fibre and very firmly fulled using a bamboo mat (which I destroyed in the process). www.ipernity.com/doc/2373440/46439662Just remembered I did take one photo mid-make to remind me of shrinkage in the Corriedale. The one on the left is partially fulled and did end up more or less the same size as the one on the right. www.ipernity.com/doc/2373440/46439676

It all looks great Lindsay! Thanks, Tracey. I did think of you as I was setting up. Firstly the table top was brilliant white and absolutely killed my soft white bowls and vases. Fortunately I’d taken along some off-white fabric so cut a piece to sit on the table. Secondly I thought I could do with a small long box to raise the height of the back row of vases. The first thought reminded me of your comment about table cloth colour and I probably wouldn’t even have thought about the height thing had you not mentioned it in your blog. Something for next time!
