My first craft fair of the year at the weekend went quite well. It was a new one to me and they were a lovely group of people. Footfall was very steady all day I thought, but the organiser said it was quieter than normal. The day was perishing cold, dry with snow flurries in the wind. Everyone coming in looked frozen! so at least folk turned up and I sold steadily.
I sold mainly cards and soaps but also a canvas wall hanging so that boosted the pennies. Very happy!

I would think that the organiser was right - the weather would have put some people off going out.

Oh yes I am sure she was right, so because of the weather it was really nice to see the amount of people who did turn up. Coming indoors for a warm may have seemed like a good idea too! |
