You got good definition whit it all being wet felted. It was the window I thought had beads. Metallic tread can be very difficult sometimes.

Peggy! I received your beautiful card today along with the Kentucky calendar. That was above and beyond the call, but thank you very much! I'll take some photos tomorrow I am so glad that everything arrived. Hope you enjoy the sights around Kentucky.

Beautiful card Peggy! How did you achieve the sparkly 'threads' on the tree?

It is time to sign up for the Holiday Exchange again. We will to do postcard/card again this year. That seems to a good size project for everyone.
The way it works is everyone who signs up will get another persons name as a partner and they can make a card or post card celebrating the holidays, and send it to them. That is to say not Christmas in particular. There are many holidays around late December and early January. We do not want to exclude anyone. Here is the link to last years. holiday-exchange-2016
Reply to this thread that you want to participate
Here's the time line:
October 4-Nove 9: people sign up November 10 partners are announced. November: Make your card, contact your partner for an address No later than December 1: Mail your card ( I recommend even post cards should go in an envelope)
When you receive your card post a picture in this thread so everyone can see it.

Hi Nancy Ruth - You need to have the photo stored somewhere online before posting either a link or posting the photo. We can't store photos here. Take a look at Frequently Asked Questions at the top of the forum feltandfiberstudio.proboards.com/board/5/frequently-askedIf you're still having an issue, you can email me the photo laneruthe @ gmail.com and I will post it for you.

I know I've been a bit AWOL lately, but I'm still playing with wool and lurking from time to time. I need a push, so sign me up for the exchange. Cheers to all. Nice to see you again Elizabeth, I was wondering where you had got to, though I haven't been contributing much here lately either. Sometimes life just takes over!

I didn't take part this year, but have just been looking through your Xmas cards. They are all beautiful and isn't it good to receive a unique piece specially made for you. A Merry Christmas everyone and all woolly good wishes for 2018.
