I hope you have good eyesight or wear spectacles, some of the detail is on the tiny side!

Your card is on it's way Ruth, and the good old Post Office is still saying four days, so there's the challenge!
She said maybe longer if you lived in the middle of nowhere......

It depends on your definition of the middle of nowhere. I will be sure to let you know when I receive it.

Glad you like Mr Fuzzy, Marilyn! Version one of your card was a winter view from my window but it came out much too bleak to make a card so I went the panda route instead. The 'bamboo' in the background uses Zed's leftover kebab technique.
I think Corriedale for the black was definitely too hairy against a superfine merino background but it's a learning curve ...and maybe it gives him a bit more charecter!

He is wonderful Anne! You have really captured the face. I really don't fancy trying to felt an animal as I'm sure they would come out looking not of this world, so well done you, lovely.

Actually I think the Merino made a good background to show off the Corriedale fur. :-)

Stargazer, I posted your card today, it will be interesting to see how long it takes to get to you. I am not super happy with it, but it was the best that I could get done with my novice abilities and wanting to post it by today. I would have liked to send this one: imgur.com/a/xAUBIbut the edges of the prefelt are so fuzzy you almost can't tell that they are meant to be stars and unlike Penguin's cute bear, fuzziness does not enhance the stars Suggestions from anyone about how to stop the fuzziness would be most appreciated.

Pamster, if the stars were twinkling they may be a little fuzzy to the eye. Don’t worry about perfection. If you make the background first and get it to the prefelt stage then add the prefelt, watch the Felting progress you may find there is more definition. All of us have been at that starting place. Keep practicing and learning you’re off to a good start. :-)

Yes don't worry Pamster! You have taken the time and effort to produce a unique card for someone, very worthy!
Regarding your star card, how about trying a bit of needle felting to define the edges?
