I'm an art student in university and I've recently re-found needle felting; so my next project is going to be in wool super excited! However, I'm sure we don't sell it nearby, does anyone have recommendations to where I can order some wool in bulk? I'm talking, 20 lbs bulk.

Yes, where are you located? Then we can recommend where to buy the wool.

Are you planning to buy just one type of fiber? The best bulk prices are usually from rhlindsey.com out east. However, they don't sell dyed fibers. Dharmatrading.com also sells natural colors with discounts for quantity. Feltingsupply.com discounts some of their dyed products, but there's not a big selection of fibers. Paradisefibers.com is another source to check out. Good luck. I'm sure other members may have different sources to check out. I've never ordered bulk from World of Wool in the U.K., but understand they have good prices.

Wool is the textile fiber obtained from sheep and other animals, including cashmere and mohair from goats, qiviut from muskoxen, angora from rabbits, and other types of wool from camelids.

World of Wool has very good prices and lots of variety. They have variety packs too, so you can get lots of colours if you want. I do not think they have naturally dyed fibers.

Maybe Asiah means natural shades rather than naturally dyed?
