Superb day at Woolfest, what a show. Arrived 10am and left 5.30pm, not bad! Did not spend pots of cash but got lots of goodies, very happy. I have taken pics to hopefully post a blog. Of course the highlight of the day was meeting Judith Saw she had succumbed to a few happy purchases too! Was good to meet you too Tracey, it's always nice to put a face to a name. I didn't buy much, stuck to my list and budget. 2 fleeces - a Jacob and a grey Shetland, some Sari silk fibre and a couple of dyes, to replenish the stock. Was really tempted by the more pricey Cotswold fleeces but I really have more than enough to clean already. Such strength!!

Well done Judith. Are you sure you only bought what was on your list. LOL That would take strength.

Ys, really Ann, though I could have been tempted by the huge sheets of silk fibre at the Wingham stall if the decimal point had been moved! I don't know what it was called and can't find it on their website. Not laps, just a waterfall of ruffly silk fibre with that wonderful silk aroma. I can get high on the smell of silk.

I love that smell too, Judith! I don't know why some silk scarves smell like they've been in a cellar for years (maybe the ones I bought had been!) but 'raw' silk smells ace!
