No daily doses for a while. I have been experimenting with resist shapes for pods. I wanted a rock shape, but the result is more bicycle seat shape! Let's see how it dries.....

my dose yesterday was plying some yarn on my spindle. the day before was paperwork but it was for a show so that's sorta fiber.

My daily dose is looking at the mess I made over the last few days trying to get some coin purses made for the local garden centre. I got an email asking if I could take more stuff in as the things I took in last time had nearly all sold. But after years of having no luck selling, their craft fairs have been good, so I was running low on things. It's amazing how much stuff you need to get out to make such little items. And I'm remembering how much easier it was to find the 'right' thread for stitching when I didn't have 15 shades of each colour!

Good news on the sales!
Annie and I were just saying how complicated things have got as our stashes have got bigger ... not that we would contemplate getting rid of anything mind!
And for all the threads we have, sometimes we just don't have the right shade.
As for the mess made just to make something small ... tell us about it!

I have tons of thread and you're right, it is hard to find the right color. Don't ask me about the shape of my studio room right now. It's a disaster and so full of stuff you can barely walk in there.

My daily dose is: I cleaned out my hoarders stash of scrap felt and silk fabric snippings, etc and I hauled it all out to the garbage can for pick up the next morning. All night I tossed and turned and couldn’t sleep - knowing my stash would to be picked up soon. So in the middle of the night.....I went to the alley and dug my stash out the garbage can and hauled it all back into the house.....................and I have no regrets!

No wonder you couldn't sleep Magzie! But you can rest easy now that your treasure is back where it belongs.

Its nice to know you don't think I'm crazy. I'm really going to make an effort to use my scraps

Lovely pebbles Jill, a rug is a great idea. See it as a long term project!

Your pebbles are fantastic. Would love a tutorial. 😀 How would you put them together for a rug?
