It's nice to show what a piece actually goes through before it's shown to the world - finished. Today I'm posting a both tiny and big change. I was so annoyed by the position of the eye that I repeated what I did last time - cut it out and re-positioning it. Usually the corner of the eye is directly above the wing of the nose. As you can see in the first photo I missed that - it's a tiny bit too far to the right. A small correction, but worth it. I can continue at peace...

Faces are always hard to get the right placement of parts, great job on your correction. Hard to keep working on something if part of it bugs you.

You have a good eye there, stargazer. Pun intended, somewhat. It looks great. I love seeing how artists struggle. It makes me feel a little less terrible.

Aww, lyn and Tracey. Thank you for your kind words! I kinda wish it was a self-portrait, but it's not. At least not intentionally and the photoreference I use is not. She constantly change in appearence, so who knows what she'll look like when done. But so far, so good I think. Just thought it was a little funny how instagram recognized her as a actual human when using face filters. Gotta mean I'm on the right track?

The reference photo is lovely for the colours ... but the personality and looks are definitely coming from yourself! She could be your twin.
I'm really looking forward to seeing her finished.
