Good luck Nada, I never did get the hang of it. But if you do it will a new skill that's useful with staying connected to fiber.

My daily dose was cutting up a failed project to make bunting to decorate future craft stalls hopefully.

I love bunting! I've been helping to make bunting for a summer dance and the whole thing is made from discarded shirts, which doesn't sound good, but it's looking splendid.

Discarded shirt bunting sounds great Lyn, endless patterns and colours, and a re-purpose sense of satisfaction.

insert code here Nada, Just keep practicing. It's lots of fun. Everyone's yarn looks strange when we first start.
Lyn, by bunting, do you mean triangular flags on a string? all I could think of is a bunting bag. I had to google it.

Nada, if it helps, one thing I say when showing people is, spinning the spindle is a lot like clicking your fingers, same sort of action. Look at your hand while you click, then 'extend' the action to your other fingers, so basically your thumb is rubbing along them and they close behind. That's if it's a top whorl

Not many daily doses of late so here's mine. I made a vase wrap, throwing lots of locks, nepps, silks and angelina fibre at it. Looking forward to maybe machine stitching and beading it tomorrow.

My daily dose is continuing on the fauvism inspired girl as I didn't manage to finish her in time. Slow process, but I'm learning quite a lot!

I dyed some silk hankies and some Trilobal nylon for sparkle. I got 2 nice pastel colours using the MX dyes and did several with acid dye too. they are for the nuno class I am teaching on Saturday.

I finished my tutorial and uploaded it to etsy, so took a break and got my wheel out and did some spinning while watching Transparent. I'm going to see if I can remember how to upload to e-junkie now!

Well I didn't sew my vase wrap today, I liked how it turned out so much that I made another one in a different colour !
I know why I enjoyed them so much, I have not made anything in ages where the design was so random, it was good to go a bit wild!
