I have two bags of silk caps. I am assuming I can use them in wet felting successfully? I seem to only be able to find tips on spinning or knitting with them.

Oh yes, silk caps can be used like silk hankies. Stretch them out and use as surface embellishment. Are they dyed?

You'll want nice smooth hands - lots of hand cream before working & no snags on your fingernails, then you can gently pull 1 layer off & hope it doesn't 'stick' to you... in other words they are lovely & thin, can give nice subtle textures. Or you can turn away thinking you've put it on your layout & find it comes with you!

Love the photo of the silk caps. Looking forward to seeing how you use them. I love the look they give. But Jill's advice is excellent. They are very "clingy".

The colours remind me of a sunset, so they could be landscape picture bound, or wrapped around felted soaps maybe.

I like to use the caps stretched over a hat. If you put them on the hat when the hat is already wet it is much easier. the silk doesn't cling to you in the same way at all and stays where you put it.
