This is very beautiful, Tracey. Is it wet felted? Thank you very much Nada, yes a wet felted background, then I sewed the seed heads on with invisible thread, and needle felted around the bottom of the stems. .

It's a beautiful picture Tracey! And well suited to the deep frame.
Taking photos can be a little precarious can't it? A few years back, Annie wanted to take a photo of my hands working a piece of felt so she climbed up a step ladder behind me then stuck her elbows on the top of my head to steady the camera as it pointed downwards...

My daily dose of fiber for the last two has been washing and drying one kg of romney sheep fleece. I had to wash it in four batches. Lots of smelly and dirty water first but the locks are very soft now. I am preparing for a workshop which will be given here in Slovenia by Ukrainian master, Oksana Sokolova. The theme this year is making a jacket. Looking forward to it.
