see pic on : myalbum.com/album/we3y8hHMUN2eMine was making something of the crazy felt piece I made last sunday when we came together with almost 40 felters from my region. It was 60x60 and is now 40x40. Happy coïncidence: my husband had a lambswool sweater in a matching color that I washed too hot and he could not wear it anymore. So I decided to felt it even more and put it in the washing machine again on a hot cotton wash temperature to make a nice back side for a bag. So today I will sew it all together and make a bling-bling bag out of it. I was also very busy to install my dyeing stuff in the dyeing corner my husband made in my studio. So now I have everything together at one place where I can splash around without being frightened to make stains on the kitchen sink.

That is stunning Madeleine, it really is, part of a bag would be fabulous. Very jealous of that!

JIll I saw your chair on Facebook. It's great. Madeleine that piece is so rich looking. And Carole your shawl is wonderful. You really are smitten with the loom.
My daily dose was opening an order from RH Lindsey of domestic 56 which arrived in a Corona beer box!

My today daily dose is finishing the wet felting on one of my pieces for the guild exhibition in May. . I few needle felting bits to do and it will be all done. Also dyeing a few more scarf blanks for my student to chose from. they are dyeing as I type.
Lots of great sounding daily doses and some great pictures of wonderful finished pieces. I want to see the chair too.

This yellow blouse was made in honour of the sun which started shining after a month of darkness, fog and cold. There is spring in the air now. www.ipernity.com/doc/724735/44313118 Long ago I dyed the silk and embellishment fibers with tagetes flower. As a base I used 16 mic white merino wool. This was my first attetmpt at making ruffles: www.ipernity.com/doc/724735/44313122 I used masking tape and put it on wet silk, then folded over some silk in the places where I wanted the ruffles to appear. I did not remove the tape until the rolling has been finished. I also used some pieces of lace which felted in well. The brooch was made separately.http://www.ipernity.com/doc/724735/44313120
