Heather, do check out Zara's posts about processing. I received a fleece to process and started off following directions and doing it in the sink. Oh, MY!!! What a tedious job it was. Then I read about Zara just letting the wool 'process' in the snow over the winter. Somewhere else I read where someone just put the fleece in tubs of water (the large plastic storage containers) and let it sit in the sun. I did that a few times for my fleece and it was fine. However, I did notice that it felt like there was more lanolin in it than in the hot-water-processed fibers. Good luck to you, and welcome!
