I've been eyeing Elena Talikova's videotutorial: felted lampshades. Has anyone purchased her video? What do you think of her video? I've never purchased an on-line tutorial from overseas (I live in the USA) and was wondering how that process works (exchange rates with your credit card, etc). Thank you so much for any input - Maggie www.tvfelt.com/shop/elenatalikova/elenatalikova.php

I've made purcchases similar to this. First you need to ask the provider how much it would cost in US $ and how to transfer money. When they receive money they will send you a link from which you will download the video(s). It may take long, depending on the capacities of your computer. Otherwise believe me, everythng is safe. I hope you are satisfied with the tutorial.

Magzie I Just purchased a video download from Russia I believe. I haven't tried the class yet, but the videos work fine and I was able to use PayPal to pay.
Let us know how it goes and what you make with the class if you decide to buy. Good luck!

Most people let you use PayPal. There may be a fee for the exchange. You can usually look up exchange rates online so you can figure out what the cost is US dollar compared to Russian ruble. For example, 1 Russian ruble is equal to 0.016 US dollar.

Do please let us know how you find it, Maggie. I have also considered buying this video, the shapes look great for pods as well as lamps
