HAPPY LONG WEEKEND FOR THOSE WHO CELEBRATE LABOR DAY! My daily dose has been all mixed up lately. One day eco-printing, another day playing with fabric scraps. Yesterday I decided to stay-stich some long panels of cotton and linen that were naturally dyed. I don't know what I will do with them, but now they are ready for anything! Here, just a bougainvillea blossom from Florida (thanks, Marilyn!) IMG_2751 by catwycliff, on Flickr

My daily dose was giving in to my fiber addiction and going to The Fold in Marengo, IL for their Labor Day sale. If anyone uses Ashland Bay Colonial, they are closing it out. So I got a bargain on two pounds of colors I typically use. Miss and silver. Those are in the back In the plastic bags. The rest is merino roving I was restocking. www.flickr.com/photos/17719520@N02/29400958596/in/dateposted-public/

Happy Labor day to my mates in America, I'm enjoying the Scottish coastline in our new campervan, spindling by the sea and felting stones :-)

Lovely haul of wool roving, Marilyn! Noticed the teal--always a winner.
Carole, please share a pic or two of the Scottish coastline, which I adore!

My daily does was bagging tagging and pricing dryer balls. I have to go get more cardstock and then I can do the small skeins

I was at a show all weekend and then a guild meeting Monday night I think O did at least a weeks worth of daily doses. I seem to chat longer for a low priced sale than for a high price one. One lady bought a hat she liked I think mostly because her friend said she shouldn't. First time that has happened. LOL

Lately my daily fiber dose has been about collecting small pieces I have made in the past and putting them together as a larger piece. There is no particular plan...just going along using recycled scraps, previously naturally dyed bits, and some recycled cloth (like the large lime green linen). And see where I end up...
