Had a lovely day out at the show, relatively small when compared to Cockermouth and not so busy, which was good. Met up with Galina and her fish which are even more impressive "in the flesh" so to speak. Also met "Nanny Lynn" from Spinners in the UK on her stall, next door to Galina. It's good to meet internet friends in person and have a chat. I got everything I wanted and nothing I didn't need and there are two more Wool Shows coming up shortly! A lovely soft and crimpy Portland fleece, some raw Alpaca, Teeswater locks, some wooden buttons and a nice new niddy noddy. All for under £30. The niddy noddy was great value at £10 and is really nicely finished. MY PVC pipe one has served me well, but is too short now I'm making bigger skeins. CIMG7463 by Judith Robinson, on Flickr

It was nice to meet you Judith! Thank you for coming to my stall (pen!)! It's nice to know that you've found something you needed. I've bought some wool myself and have got very nice discount from the fellow exhibitors. Thanks to everyone!
