I love the texture on that Carole - it certainly looks 3 dimensional in the photo.

Very pretty and it does look 'icy' Carole - I like the white seed beads on it. It looks 3D to me - how did you raise the circles?

Cool art piece. In case I run out of time for this challenge, here is the hat form the other week. It is very dimensional with the silk being very puffy and the yarn having knobbly bits and close up

And something I did a few years ago inspired by those treasure shadowbox things people create to remember a vacation to the beach. the other thing I was doing here was to go outside my comfort zone in using colour in an unrealistic way.

OoooH! Carole - I love it with the beads and all. It does looks like Ice & water. Ann, I love how silk puffs up into textured bits. It's so fun to work with. And the locks look just like waves. Pretty!

Ann - I love your use of 'unrealistic' colours in your seashore and the puffy silk on your hat and scarf is gorgeous - like jewels.

Thanks everyone. The shell and the starfish were needle felted and sewn on. Ruth I thought I must have posted it before but when I went looking on the blog I couldn't find anything and I couldn't find any pictures on my computer. I had to go over to my studio and hold my phone up high to get a picture of it nailed to the wall.
