My daily dose over the last 3 days. Hopefully the course at the end of the month will help me to get a more even result. flic.kr/p/GNevVS

That looks perfect, and it looks like it has a soft weight to it, I am very jealous - I'll give you laugh I joined the Gorgie Farm Spinners and I proudly came home with what I can only call a roll of wooly worms :-)

Your yarn looks fine to me. If you want it to look store bought the just get store bought. it the imperfections that give it character.
Carol woolly worms are good. Did you have fun making them?

Everyone starts out with it. Yes, it is quite lofty and it's going on holiday with me next week, I'm just working out a knitting pattern. My 10 year old grandaughter came today and was keen to get onto the wheel. Having done very well at controlling it without fibre, she made her first "hawser", which she took home quite proudly to show mum.

This evenings daily dose for me. she is tiny (so is her twin) but she got to cold, probably waiting for the twin to be born, so I brought her in the house to warm up. She is trying to stand up now.

Beautiful yarn, Judith. Even too even for me. At first sight I thought it was bought at the store. I agree with Ann in that imperfections give it more character. What an adorable lamb, Ann. Will it turn the colour?

Elizabeth, The Fold where I shop will be there. The owners name is Toni Neil. If you stop by tell her you're a friend of mine from the Forum. I believe she usually doesn't bring roving, but has tons of yarn. Have fun and yes, please share the experience with us! She's looking forward to meeting you, if you have time. Marilyn, Sadly, I did not get your post before I returned. As it turned out, I only had 3 hours Saturday morning to do some power-shopping. I only hit the main barn. I will definitely go back when I can be more leisurely about it. The rush was that my nephew, his girlfriend & 8 month daughter are leaving the Baltimore area, heading for Seattle. My sis (his Mom) had planned a going away party for him. I really couldn't ditch a family party just to shop. Besides, they're a wonderful new family and I can always go back. I took a natural dying class, an indigo class (NOT as fiddly as I thought it would be), and a drop spindle class. I have loads of photos, to upload and write about.
