The sweater looks good. It's good to have fiber options. I hope your foot heals quickly.

Wow! That looks very warm. My hubby is too hot-natured to even consider knitting something for him. Especially here in Dallas. I hope you're back on your foot/feet soon.

Done...0,9kg. This was thick spun. Mostly I spin thin and than it is difficult to spin thick. That swaeter beneath isn't plyed (plyd?) say twisted, but also from sheepswool.

Two lovely sweaters. Glad to have another spinner/knitter on board. I see you use circular needles, I'm trying very hard to get used to these, but still prefer either dpn or straight. I'm also trying to knit Continental style and I'm making progress - after 60 odd years of English 'throwing'. There, I've revealed my age!!!! Old dogs can learn new tricks!

I am trying to do the Continental style also, m.youtube.com/watch?v=XuRLFl36tDY, gives a good example. Knitting is easier than purl for me . I have to pay more attention on the tension because the work will get looser , special when I do the purl work. With circular needles and you only have to knit, than it is fantastic. I love to make the Norwegian round necklaces, cardigan, with all their beautifull patterns and colors. Because we love to travel with our camper in the Scandinavians we went to Uddevalla to the Bohuslans museum and there I bought a packet to knit a jumper designed by Kerstin Olsson 1963 updated by Solveig Gustafsson 2006. It was 50% merino and 50% angora. The name is : Bla Blomman (Blue flower). I became totally in love with those necklages and see what happened: The first one is mine bla blommen When I have to use serveral colors I am still knitting the Europian way because than I know that the threads are right on the backside. It is just when having a second language, when it becomes seriously then I'll fall back on the mother language.

Lovely jumpers Vitmaaraan. Yes, Continental style is best for colourwork. When I was in Portugal a couple of years ago, I was given a 'knitting pin', so I decided to give the Portuguese style a try and discovered that this method makes purling much the easier stitch. www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzfYS9_t27k
