If this is your first fish you have made you need to congratulate yourself. Nothing is wrong with your fish. You probably used different types of wool than Galina did in her tutorial and you get different effects in the end. Perhaps Galina will respond to your post and give you specific advice you need in this matter.

Thanks for your respons, I asked Galina. I 'll let you know what the indications are. Maybe he will get a brother or sister this week, because my astrology is fish and he neads a pal.

I like your fish, and lips can be wide open or pursed. Yours are wide open!

You can always apply the 'lipstick' afterwards by needle-felting. I know that's the last thing I apply when doing make-up on myself :-)

Your fish is wonderful. I like him. He would be great on your desk to hold some paperclips or such.

viltmaaraan what is it in the mouth you are not happy with? If you want the different colour on the lips you need to do it when you lay the wool - "The orange wool goes where the mouth is going to be to create bright orange lips." If you want to create some particular shape with the lips you could shape them just after the resist was removed and stitch them loose with a thread of a contrast colour so it's easier to remove it afterwards. If you want the mouth to be smaller try to avoid fulling with your hand inside the fish...

Thanks, I 'll keep that in mind, I 'll lay the orange wool also a little bit on the other site, that is what I didn't do. I thought I could curl it in that direction but no...
