Oh, can you imagine the scene.... I had 2 ladies who didn't listen at all, they broke big lumps of roving off & smashed & squidged it all together...interpreted 'gently, gently stroke your hands/bag over' as push hard with all your weight ... their flowers were the size of trees! But they had fun.
& 1 left halfway through to go to another appointment & insisted I tell her how to continue at home. PS if you can't tell from the above, no I won't be doing a vest workshop with them next LOL. I did have 4 lovely ladies a couple of weeks ago on a 'proper' workshop, they are all textile fans, sewers etc, so rather more sensitive to learning. & they want to come again yeay!

I've been busy preparing for two fairs (and there are three more ahead). However, I had a commission to finish - three byby blankets. I used the softest merino, lots of viscose fibres, silk fabric, hand dyed silk handkerchiefs and silk cocoons. I'm quite pleased with the results. If anyone is interested, I posted them in my album www.ipernity.com/doc/724735/album/679057.

Nada love the blankets - you reminded me that I made some votive sized candles last year - I had someone house sit/bird sit while I was on my recent trip. I made her a scarf using some of the colors on my birds breast.
