My Christmas card image this year - and if you're interested in the making of it, I've put details on the rosiepink blog.

Very cool idea! I like the mistletoe that you added. The scarves and hats look like Nuno felt with the stitching.

Wonderful! Sure to put a smile on every recipient's face. Think I may steal the idea of making 1 thing & photographing it for my cards... not too time consuming

Thank you. Angie - the snowman's hat and scarf is nuno felt, but the snow-woman's hat is just various colours of merino wool. Jill - you're half-right in that the felting part is not too time consuming but I spent a long time thinking and figuring out how to achieve the effect I wanted. Time well spent though as it was fun.

Lyn, I certainly didn't mean to imply that was a quick project, gosh not at all! I can see how much thought & time & skill you have used. I don't think I'd be patient enough but was considering an easier subject (maybe just 1 snowman, or a robin on a felt picture for instance), thinking that I don't really have the energy or time to make all individual handmade cards this year (once you start that, people seem to expect it every year!) but I could print off photocards. I like the part in the story where someone opened the door & the snow blew away

I knew what you meant Jill. I used to have photos printed, then make the cards to stick them on, then insert paper inners - what a lengthy process that was! I now get Vistaprint to do the hard work.

They are so cute Lyn and totally original as always. How tall are they? They're 13.5cm tall (5.5") and they took 76 grams of white merino. (There's more making details in my blog post.)

I've just been shopping and I didn't even need to put on a cardi so I know what you mean Zed. And the sun's just burnt through the fog so it's time to hang the washing out. If this is November then bring it on.

It was 21c here today. 18 tomorrow and then back down to single digits and scraping the frost off the car in the morning.
