Wow Elizabeth, you have some lovely bracelets and I like the sushi style beads. Looks like Lyn's method worked a charm

They're great, Elizabeth. And Zed, do we get to see a photo of the picture of the photo? :-)

Great bracelets Elizabeth.

That may have been done at one of the quilt shops in town. I think I heard about it but haven't heard of anyone that took it. I will have to ask my quilting friend to see if she knows anyone who took the class.

Great job on the bracelets, Elizabeth! Very colorful and good contrast with “regular” beads.

So much beautifulness when I checked in today, Aphee your scarf/cowl looks fabby, so soft, and visually stunning, I would love the opportunity to make something like that, 20 yes I'd wear it in 20.
Elizabeth 100 Ohhh, I couldn't even think about touching felt in that heat, I'm loving your jewellery work and ditto to the felt and regular bead combo - it works well.

They look great, Elizabeth Penguin, I did get it felted yesterday, so hopefully I'll get photos today, and blog about it tomorrow. It's not 'painterly' or artistic like felt paintings you see, but it turned out alright. The colours are so off from the photo though! The yellows and mustards of the photo are much more 'acidic'.

I did more getting ready for the Twist festival. I put together spindle kits, priced the batts and sewed more elastics onto cup cozies. More of that again today. Elizabeth your bracelets are lovely and the sushi roll turned out really well. Yesterday was 104F or 40c with the humidity. Humidity was 98% we are in for the same again today. So much for the Great White North.

Blech!!! You win the inclement weather contest, Ann. I can't imagine 104F in Canada! We expect it here in Texas.

Wow, had no idea it got that hot in Canada. Now Texas is a different story. One of my sons lives in Houston and normally does not complain about the weather. But 102F recently, he complained! I will never forget the summer I spent in Dallas many years ago, and the pool was over 102F one day. I could not believe how hot it was. And it was Labor Day, September!
