So, Ann, what are you trying to convey with your business card? That is what's important.
To me this card says - minimalist, a "green" person. It doesn't say "art". Instead of a sheep, how about a picture of something you have created? (now I could be completely wrong as I am definitely not out in the felting community and perhaps this is how it is done) Just my thoughts.

Good idea Pam - colour picture of felted item would be good in place of the sheep.
If the green "shepherds' spring farm" were to be straight instead of curved and if you removed the thin line border, you would have more space to play with. Your name and address could be in single line spacing - or is it already and it's just an illusion because it's a small card blown up?
If you want to really push the boat out, you could have images of your items printed on the reverse as well.

I agree, photos of your work would be great. Color might be more expensive but I think it's worth it.

Interesting, the sheep I use on the hang tags too but a picture on the cards might be better. I guess I was trying to be clean and consistent with the name and sheep. I am not really sure how consistent you need to be across the hang tags. They go on hats, scarves, flowers, shawls, nuno, vessels and needle felt( not much of this) and reg felt. I think everything is 1.5 spaced. That what it automatically puts in when you hit return and I haven't been able to figure out how to change it. I like it on the right hand side, not cluttered and easy to read. the name and address would be better single spaced as you say. I put the border in because it seemed to need something. Well thats the whys and wherefores but I don't like it, which is why I am asking. printing both sides might be interesting. I wonder about making my address more general to my aria by putting Ottawa. I technically live in the city but my mailing address is as it always has been.

The sheep image on the hang tags is a good idea because then it fits whatever item you fix it to.

You should definitely keep the sheep, it's instantly identifiable as you. If you want a bit of a change, how about centralising it? You could always go more 'green' and use brown/buff like luggage labels.
I think photos look nice too, it's not easy to get a good picture on something so tiny though is it, maybe vessels and pods? If you have photos on one side, white might be better for the reverse with your info

I like Zed's revamp. You could try putting the info on with portrait orientation instead of landscape. Photos on the reverse side would be nice.

I like the new mock up. if I made the name straight it could be a little bigger I think zed did you use photo shop? I use print shop for the cards and hang tags. does it have templates of doing carts and things? I like the picture on the other side idea or maybe I could take a picture of a nuno scarf up close and use that for a back ground. If I was starting out now I would make my name shorter, and I would not have the double s in the middle of the name. It causes no end of trouble.

Yeah, I used Photoshop. I just downloaded your photo, made a copy and pasted your logo in the centre, then added text. Photoshop doesn't have templates as far as I know. The good thing about it is that you can have endless layers, so you can keep moving things like pictures and text around until you're happy. Another really good feature is Custom Brushes, you can select a shape, for example your sheep, and make it into a brush shape, then use it like a rubber stamp at any size you like.

I had and old copy somewhere that the kids were using for school. I will have to see if I can find it.

I like the sheep on the card and do not think colour pictures are necessarily a good idea. It all depends on what your business card is for. My business card is divided in half so it can be folded for smaller items. I use it on my sale items and write info on the back. If I wanted photos, I would make a different card altogether. Tricia

Thanks, I use the sheep and name on my hang tags too. They are busness cards done the other way.

Hi...Im new to the forum...and hope I'm bringing this up in the right place. I'm a new felter and doing my first craft fair. I read a lot of felting blogs and saw a wonderful list of things to bring ( besides felt ) such as tape, pencils, first aid, etc...but now I can't find it. I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction....thanks
