Just wanted to share a lovely new Etsy shop I have used - called Bakewell Hearts. She is selling mixtures of sizes of batts, mini-batts, rolags & more, in many beautiful colourways, with nice mixes of fibres, at what I feel are good value for money prices.
As well as a couple of batts, I ordered the small size 'Bakewell Box' of mixed fibres, for which you choose your own colours: I asked for blue/green with a little sand & hinted in my message that I like to make sea inspired works. Look at what I got..... just beautiful. & a couple of cute little packs of free sparkles & nepps & silk fibres. & only charged actual postage cost & she dispatched it the next day. Am really pleased. This could get addictive!

Beautiful Jill. Please share what you make with this lovely fiber and let us know how it was to use. Thanks for telling us about it.

That looks like a nice selection, Jill I think I might have seen her on Facebook, the name sounds familiar. I've given up on the idea of trying to sell fibres. In a structured way anyway. Doing the photos/listing for the mixed fibre pack, packing up 2 orders and posting them out made me so ill. I'm just not up to it. I'll list a few things now and again when I've got some more dyed stuff, but when I had a Facebook notification the other morning and my first thought was 'please don't be an order', I knew I wouldn't be 'making a career' out of selling fibres

Now I feel guilty.

Oh, please don't Elizabeth! I underestimated what I was capable of, and it was mostly the fact that I wasn't really thinking and did it all 3 days in a row. I enjoyed all the weighing out and packaging of the fibres while I did it, I love fibres and any excuse to play around with them. I'd rather get tired and ill from packing up fibres than going to the shops or bank any day Did yours arrive yet?

Zed, sorry, I only meant to gently tease you. All is well! The package arrived, along with a few sighs from my DH. It's the first one for this entire month so I don't know what he's complaining about !!!
Thanks for the wonderful tutorial, too!

No worries I'm glad it arrived ok. I don't understand how people aren't fascinated by fibres!
