Thanks Marilyn, I'd seen a piece of her work before, but very interesting to read more. I admire how she truly is moving an ancient craft into a new perspective. It would be great to see them for real.

Cool! Like string art from the 60's 70's I bet you don't have to go far back to find ancestors in the clothing industry up here. I think one of my Gt Grandmas was a felt hat maker.

I agree it would be best in person. She mentions she works small, I can't imagine how she does that in such intricate patterns.

Very cool. It does remind me of the nail and sting pictures people used to do in the 70s. It is not what I would call embroidery but I don't know what to call it, maybe just art.
