Frances nailed it on the head. There are so many resources out there (and here!) already. Heck, I learned how to nuno felt watching YouTube videos!
I've only taught a few felting classes at this point and the joy for me is watching the students "get it". Thanks for helping me sort it all out.. I'll politely decline.

For me, if I am going to pay for an online 'class' I'd want more than a video to watch, I'd want, as the guys here have started doing I believe, a forum to enable me to ask questions & it's a nice idea to be able to post work. I took Fiona Duthie's handbag class & I know others on here have taken her Surface Design class & for me, that is a great format for how it should be done. She made excellent, detailed, workbooks, very clear, good quality photos. & she encouraged participation, gave interesting, open, encouraging feedback to every question, comment & piece of work. That's how I'd love to do it.

We do have all the details worked out now for our Classes forum, and have proposal forms, info sheets and even a little guide to writing tutorials and what to consider for developing a class or workshop.
If anyone is interested just contact one of the Global Moderators.
We'll do a blog post on it soon.

I agree I want more than just a video. no I haven't done my boots yet. the information in my class was good but the teacher would only answer questions on Wednesday evening for a couple of hours. Not really interactive. I think we had access for 3 months. Her answers were not good either. she knew what she was doing and give good information but didn't seem to be able to deal with problems. Fortunately I can work it out for myself. I haven't felt up to trying them again. maybe this summer. Fiona was a good teacher. I didn't like the format for sharing as it was one long thread with nothing separated. the answers just popped in her and there and no way of seeing without scrolling through everything every time. Other people didn't seem to mindso maybe just me
