I am divesting myself of hoarded items from previous crafting hobbies. I'm taking photos and posting them on my flickr board as I box them up to make room for FIBER!!! These are items I've gleaned from Ebay, garage and estate sales. They are worth nothing to thrift stores and would be thrown out, but I hope to find them homes that will cherish, reuse, and recycle then. If you see anything of interest, please speak up. I am ashamed to say that this is probably only 1/3 of the final stuff. I will be happy to trade for a small fluff of FIBER!! The photos are in my 'Rehoming Ephemera' album. Here is a link www.flickr.com/photos/131055257@N02/sets/72157650894089437/Since this is the first time I've posted a link to Flickr, let me know if it does not work.

The link works!
Don't be too hasty to chuck everything out - sometimes things can be multi-craft and may come in useful for 3D felt, jewellery, picture adornment etc.

Looks like good stuff to me. I agree with Lyn!
What all is in with the ink photo? I couldn't really tell.

Quite the stash Elizabeth. I had a nurse tell me they donate the aluminum tabs to charity because they have more metal than the whole can. You may look into that if no one wants them. I have enough of my own stuff to deal with. Good luck!

Nice stash! I have a room full of stuff not anywhere near as good, but can't part with it, ' just in case'. LOL

Don't get rid of the stuff you have too soon. I agree with Lyn that some of things you have could be used with felt as well. I know that here there is a FB group here where artists are swapping/selling stuff for art work. I'm sure there is something similar in your country too.

I agree with our fellow hoarders. Don't get rid of too much too quickly. I can see lots of stuff which could be incorporated into felting/mixed media. You can bet your boots that when you throw something out, there will be a use for it within the month.

Yep, sorry, have to agree with everyone else, don't be too hasty! Those mahjong/games/domino tiles could make unique buttons for felted items, the shells could decorate pods, wall hangings etc. And there's no reason you couldn't decorate the tops of altoid/mint tins with pieces of felt.
I got rid of (recycled) so much beach glass a couple of years ago (I did weirdly take a lot back to the beach one day!), then saw how much it was being sold for on etsy. So if you do end up selling, try etsy. I aso know a lot of altered artists use ebay.

Ronald McDonald Houses collect the tabs. So you can donate them.

Heehee, Ruth! I wondered if you'd perk up at the inks. :-) The round bundle is called Dr Ph Martin's irridescent Calligraphy inks. Here's a link www.docmartins.com/collections/iridescentI got these years ago at a garage sale, unopened, and they're still unopened. I have no idea what condition they're in. The set above the inks in the photo is a set of Rapidograph "Technical drawing pens"/ Again, a garage sale find that have not been used. Here's a link: kohinoorusa.com/products/pens/rapidograph/pens/index.php. Everyone else, I totally understand your comments, but I am undeterred. Believe me, I AM holding back a few things, but I have not used these in many years, if ever. I've been hoarding them. I was appalled when I had to go through my Mother's hoard, then I realized I was worse. All this STUFF is just cluttering up my mind AND creativity. I find myself spending more time acquiring and maintaining stuff, not creating and using them. It's Sunday, I guess the day for true confessions :-) Have a creative week!

I have to say those inks look terrific and I could be tempted, but I need more stash like a hole in the head - or so my husband says!

Elizabeth - I sent you a private message. I don't need anything else either but really like the look of those pens and ink.
