Here is a wonderful opportunity to learn from a master felter: textilecentre.co.uk/?page_id=4577For those of you who live in the UK, you just need to wander up north a bit. Only drawback is the timing, which is mid-November-- so icky weather. I am personally interested in the Jurassic lizard, but for those of you who fancy hats, looks fantastic!

Oh Cathy - I'm so very tempted. Unfortunately I need to be in the UK about 3 weeks before then, if only the dates were closer I would seriously try to go to the hat class. Judit Pocs is so inspirational.

She is, yes she is wonderful! I really want to sign up, but timing is everything. I can understand that if you are there in the UK before then, you could not easily return. Are you touring or taking other workshops?

I' m just visiting family, I'm English but live in Crete. Bit of shopping, no doubt! I often come in November but not this year as it's my mother's 80th birthday in October, think I better be there! Unfortunate timing. I'm still hoping that 1 day I'll be able to attend a workshop with someone this special. I keep looking at the Atelier Fibrefusing? In holland, they have amazing sessions. We can dream.

The Atelier FiberFusing site is awesome and offers a nice variety of felting classes, although some of them seem to be offered only in Dutch. Another site bookmarked for the future. Would love to take a class there!

Judit is running a few classes at the Ifa conference in Kent in a few weeks, I am sooooo excited to have a place on her hat making masterclass! I'm afraid her classes were the first to fill up but there is a waiting list in case of drop outs. I'm also working with Jill Denton from the Devon and Cornwall group to arrange a combined trip for judit either very late this year or early 2016. We are hoping she will hold a few workshops in the south west and Surrey/ Berkshire areas. I'm hoping we will progress this plan during the Ifa meeting, watch this space!

You must be so excited about the IFA conference and a spot in Judit Poc’s hat class. Please keep us posted about her visits in your area.

Ooooo Teri, I'm very jealous. We will, of course, expect to see photos of your resulting hat sculpture
