Judy good to hear from you. Now you have another skill - are you going to knit with your yarn?

Good for you. spinning is fun. I mostly use mine for decoration on felt although I did spin enough for a sweater and enough for a shawl once.

Hello everyone, My lesson was a lot of fun and I learned a lot and there was no charge. The lady in the photo also sold me my Ashford drum carder and I picked it up.. So exciting. I have not open the box yet but it is very large. Smile... I bought some very lovely fiber from her too. Hand dyes and natural colors. VERY Exciting news: Huge smile The day before we left for Florida I went down to our local art council to ask about gesso. While there the lady and I started talking about my felting. See had saw Scottish highland last Summer when I ask about places to get it matted... She told me that they were having an exhibition. She encourage me to enter my felting pieces.. So I went home and brought back "By The Sea" and "Scottish highland".... I have never enter any of my art into an exhibition so I was a bit nervous but decided to go ahead.. I was very naive about the procedure of entering art into an exhibition... I thought when took my pieces down to the art center that it would automatically be enter... Silly me.. A couple of days ago I received a message from the art council saying my felt art had been accepted into the exhibition.. See the message below. You all have seen these pieces before but I will include a photo anyways... Smile... I m so excited... Oh BTW.. The art council asked me to teach and asked if I could do a landscape workshop in the Spring after I get home from Florida.... Super Huge Big Smile... feltingandfiberstudio.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/image.jpgfeltingandfiberstudio.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/rmudll38vktwohhelvct.jpgThank you for your submissions to the 2015 Change of Seasons show presented by the Arts Council of White Lake. Thanks everyone for the good wishes.
Today is overcast and only 64 F... Tomorrow is to be back into the low 70F... I am loving this mild sunny weather even if there is Sea Fog..
We are heading out tomorrow and going a wee bit North to Ocala Florida for the next 5 days.....on Friday we are going to Cross Creek historic park that was owned by the writer Marjorie Rawlings who wrote The Yearling and Cross Creek. I am very excited to see this area...
Very awful hazardous weather back home in Michigan.. Very sad face.. Hopefully all will survive this disgusting weather back home..
