Hello Judy and thank you for the smile box. The quilts are wonderful.
While watching, I thought that quilting and felting have evolved along similar paths.
Quilting and felting were born from a need to keep warm but in these affluent times, both crafts are being used by people to make pictures - decoration rather than warmth.

I have found that most people do not know what a felt artist or fiber artist or art quilter are. I am always explaining these things to people. However, everyone knows what scrapbookers do. Scrapbooking has lead the way into Mixed Media Art. I don't do scrapbooking, but I follow them because they are far ahead in the world of Mixed Media. Felting arts are moving in the same direction too. That is why I study you.
